Overtime
- Time-and-a-half rate \(= \times 1.5\)
- Double time rate \( = \times 2\)
Special allowances
- An employee can receive an extra allowance for working under difficult conditions. This could be an extra $1.80/hr for working in the rain.
- An employee might also receive extra allowances to cover costs associated to their work such as travel expenses.
